Just under a year ago I was about to start a new garden. My customer (and now friend) called me a week before to let me know she had just been told she had Leukaemia and was going into hospital to start chemo. She was very strong and brave throughout - always wanting updates on how the garden was going! As her treatment came to and end she was given the fantastic news it had worked :-) Back home now working on the garden - all thanks to the Dr's, nurses and staff at St Luke's Cancer centre. They are raising money for some new equipment so I'm trying to do my bit!
