Story
I have set this page up for my brave 31 year old sister Sophia, to raise awareness and money in her fight against cancer. My amazing friends have organised different events, the first two (more to follow):
• Tough Mudder, 17 of us (majority unfit) completed this 05.05.18

• 11 people cycling from London to Paris, 80% of the group not even owning a bike. A 3 day ride comprising of 200 mile and 8000 ft incline completed 27/05/18.

• Nearly 25 people participating in the Templer Walk on Dartmoor (14/07/18).

Please read Sophia’s story below, your support is greatly appreciated!
Sophia is a loyal and loving daughter, sister, friend and colleague. She is a career driven young lady who was excelling in her job and has always been an extremely active individual, going to the gym and playing tennis and football amongst numerous other sports.
After 3 years of misdiagnosis I finally persuaded her to have a private consultation where they found she had a tumour in her large intestine. Fortunately on 11th December they performed a major lifesaving operation removing the primary tumour, unfortunately however the cancer had spread. Testament to my sister’s strength and character she refused morphine 24 hours after her major operation and was doing her upmost to get moving so she could start further treatment to beat this cruel disease.
She has always been an inspiration and looked out for me; so now it's my time to try and even slightly repay her. We are looking to raise money to explore alternative treatments and anything left over will go towards various cancer charities who have helped Sophia along the way.
Any donations are welcome (no amount is too small), if you can’t donate please share this story to help protect love ones!
As a family we don’t want anyone to suffer the pain we have and continue to suffer as we do our upmost to fight this disease.
Many thanks
Sophia’s younger brother Ben
