In the coming months I’ll be running the Winchester 10k (23rd Feb) and the Fleet half marathon (15th March) in order to raise money for my cousin Rachael.

Rachael is 42, mum to 7 year old Matilda and was recently diagnosed with incurable stomach cancer which has now spread to her liver. Although it’s been hard for us to all get our heads around this, we know that Rachael's time with her daughter is cruelly being cut short and therefore we want to raise as much as we can to help Rachael and Matilda make the best memories together and also put some money aside for Matilda's future.

Not only is Rachael my cousin, she is a friend and a great friend to everybody she knows. I’m lucky enough to have made some great memories with Rachael over the years that will stay with me forever, it’s only fair that her daughter should get to have the same, so I hope you’ll sponsor me to do these runs and raise as much as we can for Rachael and Matilda.
