Late last year my wife introduced me to the Cairngorm to Coast event organised by Outfit Moray. We both agreed it would be a good idea to challenge ourselves with a physical activity that we could do together that would help us stay fit.One of the main benefits was that it would involve walking and cycling in the beautiful Moray landscape.

I thought this would also be a superb opportunity to raise money. I couldn't decide between New Elgin Primary School and Outfit Moray so I thought money raised could be shared equally between both.

I have worked as a supply teacher at New Elgin for over a year, working across various year groups. It has been very enjoyable getting to know the children and staff. All schools have seen budget cuts and I know that any money raised will be used to support the New Elgin student's education, health and wellbeing.

Outfit Moray are a superb charity that organise exciting outdoor activities for disadvantaged children and teenagers. They continue to rely on fundraising to help them provide this excellent service.
