Story

We have been a members of Scouting since we were 6 so quite some time! In that time we have done many activities to help the local community. We now have the opportunity to do what scouts do for a very special village and a community that are much less fortunate than ourselves. Below shows what we are going to support.
Mtimbira Dispensary – Renovation of Ward and main centre
The ward building at Mtimbira can barely be used due to the bad state of the roof. The roof has been damaged by leaking roof, bat faeces and urine - and general poor workmanship in the first place.
Likewise, the main building is badly suffering from a bad ceiling and needing work to update it. This is seriously affecting the quality of the medical assistance provided, including maternity services. The centre has about 300 births a year and only has one small labour room, which is poorly lit and ill-equipped. The centre is very busy and is obviously an important part of the community
