Story
My name is Ben, and I am 15 years old, nearly 16. I describe myself as an outgoing individual who strives to try their hardest. I have always wanted to do something like M10, to help families in poverty abroad. I completely understand this will be no holiday, but it will make a great difference. There will be ups and downs, and I know I will have to get my hands dirty - something in which I am eager to do. I will work my hardest and more in Ensenada to secure a safe home for a poverty stricken family. I have always wanted to do volunteer work, but never knew how to get myself involved, but after hearing about M10, I knew this was the opportunity of a lifetime for me and for the families abroad to give us all an experience of a lifetime in many ways. I feel going on an M10 mission will help me develop my skills; Team Work, become more outgoing and Working as hard as possible, along With much more and it is something to be proud of looking back at it, and knowing that I personally made a change to a families life abroad who were in poverty.
First of all I am trying to raise £150 that be the deposit for me to travel and help combat poverty in Mexico. I then will need to raise £2000 to fund the trip and contribute to building materials for myself and the team to build a home for a family. I have lots of fund raising events planned between now and July 2018 when the trip would take place in order to raise the £2000.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for your help.
Ben
