Story
I will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon on the 1st October, to raise money to go to South Africa to work in an Orphanage. The half marathon is 13.1 miles, and I am aiming to finish in under 2 hours. The minimum age to participate in the race is 17 years old, and I will only be 17 years and 4 days old, so it is the first half marathon I can possibly do
1000 Hills is an orphanage in Durban, South Africa, and they work with HIV/AIDS infected children. As a church, we will be sending out 5 members of the youth to work as volounteers in the orphanage for 10 days, in the school, health clinic, kitchen and other areas.
