I've raised £1677 to build a safe haven lodge and sensory garden for rescued dogs at Beneath The Wood Sanctuary.

We are crowdfunding to build a life saving secure enclosure at Beneath the Wood Sanctuary, an animal rescue centre in West Wales that provides a safe haven to rescued animals, including dogs with severe behaviour difficulties.
We urgently need to build an enclosure to house dogs like Karam (pictured) who need extra space during their rehabilitation.
Some rescued dogs really struggle to live in kennels due to previous abuse or trauma, and the noise and stress of so many other dogs in close confinement is just too much for them to bear.
Beneath the Wood Sanctuary cares for dogs with complex needs. With time and the experienced gentle care the sanctuary provides, these dogs can learn to trust humans and so live a happy and full life.
We are building a safe enclosure with an insulated dog house and sensory garden, complete with a digging sand pit, raised platforms, dog friendly planting and other sensory items.
We are building what we can on a tiny budget, reusing and upcycling materials where possible, however groundworks, fencing and electrical work are things we cannot use recycled materials for.
The dogs we care for all have bite histories due to their fear of people, so we must ensure the enclosures we build are safe and secure.
We need to pay for groundwork, fencing, installation of electricity to the dog house, and materials to provide enrichment activities that are vital for rehabilitation.
Please donate and help us to provide a safe haven for these dear dogs, who have suffered so much and narrowly escaped euthanasia.
We will provide regular updates on the progress of our project.
Thank you for your kind support.
