Story

My name is Benedict and I am an Olympic Weightlifter. I have a diagnosed birth defect called Brachial Plexus Paralysis (or Erbs Palsy) and this affects my left shoulder and arm.

Unfortunately, my left shoulder can partially dislocate resulting in occasional 'freak accidents' where it dislocates when I have the weight above my head. This has caused me to drop over 100kg on my head multiple times (I am surprised I am still alive to be honest!) and need to raise £75 in order to buy protective head-wear. In the picture below you can see me with a very cheap hard hat as this is the short term solution but it is not feasible to continue wearing this as it significantly obstructs my lifting.

Thank you so much for all your help!
