Story
I recently completed the Cape Wrath Trail in 10 days; I have decided to use this as an opportunity to raise money for my old scout group.
My time in the Scouts gave me the skills required to enjoy the outdoors and challenge myself. It also taught me many life skills. Scouting taught me how to navigate, survive and explore in the Earth‘s wild places. Every time I go on an adventure I am always incredibly grateful for the dedicated volunteers of the Scouts. I acknowledge that I wouldn‘t be able to do the things I do today without this fantastic organisation and therefore I would love for you to help me support them in their work.
The Cape Wrath Trail is a gruelling 230 mile trek from Fort William to Cape Wrath (the North West tip of Scotland). The route is completely unmarked and passes through some of Scotland’s most wild, remote, and beautiful places. To complete the route, one must be completely self-sufficient and often go days without resupplying or seeing other people. I completed the route in just under 10 days, which is a time I am immensley proud of. It was a truly epic adventure that I will never forget.
If you would like to support this cause, I would be incredibly grateful for any donations!
*Please note that I funded this expedition myself, therefore 100% of donations will go to 1st Holme Scouts.
