Story

As a Rayleigh ICS volunteer, I’ll be partaking in the ICS WASH (Water, Aid, Sanitation, Hygiene) or Livelihoods programme, which both aim to improve the basic living conditions and growth of local communities over in Nepal. This will take place between the 5th October and 19th December 2018. Volunteers on previous trips have carried out bridge building projects, refurbishment of old buildings and installed water collection banks. For more details visit:

In terms of fundraising, I’ll be running the Scottish Half Marathon (Musselburgh) on 23rd September 2018.

Any donations, no matter how large or small, will help make a difference and contribute to the growth of local communities over in Nepal.

Thanks for checking out my page! 😊
