I've raised £500 to Help Ruby fund the treatment she needs to fight neuroblastoma.

I am going to be running the Leeds Half Marathon on the 12th May this year to help to raise funds to finance the much needed treatment for an aggressive form of cancer, called Neuroblastoma, that my niece has been diagnosed with.
Her best hope is to receive further treatment abroad to help prevent relapse which is currently not available via the NHS hence her friends are working towards raising the funds necessary by undertaking various events of which this is the first of my efforts....
Now, those who know me know I'm not the fittest chap. Running 13.2 miles or 21k isn't going to be easy. Especially as I've not what you call 'trained' for this.
The sweat/hurt muscles/likely injuries and 100% pain I'm going to put myself through for this, hopefully will encourage you lovely people to give a little.
I simply ask - If you can please sponsor me anything, Ruby, my family and I would be so grateful.
You can find out more about Ruby and her journey here -

I will also, with the help of some good friends, be organising other fundraising exploits over the coming months so if you can't give now, I'll be offering other opportunities :) This is just my first attempt on the long road ahead.....
Thank you.
Ben
