The World Scout Jamboree is held every 4 years, which means that as a Scout you only get one chance to attend. Its a once in a lifetime experience! In 2019, the Jamboree is being held in West Virginia at the Summit Bechtel Reserve.

Benjamin has been selected from many, many other Scouts to attend next year and is one of only 5 other Scouts from the Preston District to go!

This means we need to fundraise £1200 towards his place. Benjamin already has plans for raffles and bag packing at supermarkets with the other 4 Scouts, but he need to fundraise on his own as well.
We are hoping friends and family may like to donate a little to help Benjamin on his way to his target.

The Jamboree experience is 10 days at the reserve, but alongside this, they will have a City visit to either Washington DC or New York, and they'll visit and spend time with a Scout group in either Canada or America.
