About the School and its heritage-

BLOUVLEI ACADEMY is a non-governmental organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children from disadvantaged backgrounds, particularly those in the rural community of Wellington and the local orphanage, Andrew Murray Children's Home.

BLOUVLEI ACADEMY was established with a vision to provide quality education, social support, and nutritional support to children who face economic challenges and come from previously disadvantaged communities. Our organization operates independently, and regrettably, we do not receive full support from the state. Despite this challenge, we are committed to creating a nurturing environment that fosters learning, growth, and empowerment.

Our focus extends to the heart of rural communities where access to education and resources is limited. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to receive a quality education and to break the cycle of poverty. Through our initiatives, we aim to bridge the educational gap and empower children to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities. One of the key programs we offer is a feeding scheme that provides two nutritious meals per day to each child. We recognize the critical role that proper nutrition plays in a child's physical and cognitive development.

In addition to serving the rural community, we work closely with children from the local orphanage. We understand the unique challenges they face and are dedicated to providing them with a supportive and enriching educational experience. By focusing on their academic, emotional, and social development, we strive to equip these children with the skills and knowledge necessary to overcome adversity and lead fulfilling lives.

However, our efforts would be greatly enhanced with additional support. We are reaching out to organizations and individuals who share our vision and understand the importance of investing in the education and well-being of children in need. Your support, whether through financial contributions, in-kind donations, or partnerships, can make a significant difference in the lives of these children and contribute to the overall development of our community.

* This is our intention for the use of the money, however on the off chance something more important develops, we may redirect the funds. But, the funds will be used for the good of the school, the kids and their development.
