Story

Next Sunday 3rd, Ben (middle child) is walking 1k for a friend of his/ours. His friend is Max Seaman who has Cerebral Palsy. Max is an awesome child that has not let this challenge effect him but sometimes all challenges need an extra push, that is what we are raising money for. Max has just had SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) it is a very specialist operation that involves a surgeon sectioning and cutting abnormal sensory nerve fibres/rootlets in the base of the spine, which in turn release the tightness in the legs.

This is a private operation at Great Ormond Street with many many months of physio post operation.

Now 1k may not sound big but in Ben’s world this is massive. Ben also has cerebral palsy so walking unaided is not possible, he has a wheel chair and a walker. Ben has never walked 1k, TBH he has never done 1/2k but he really wants to do it! All in his walker!

If you would like to help Max please donate, I would be unbelievably grateful and I know Max and his family would also!
