Lockdown has been a challenging and unique time for everyone. It has however brought a positive period for many who have found new hobbies, passions and social connections.

As the lockdown began to ease-off, a brave group of our supporters began to explore Scotland for it’s beauty. That group consists of Colin Simpson, Noel Pope, Tom Parham, Dean Reilly, Andy Mackenzie, Jamie Robertson, Simon Sweeney, Steven Stanton & Zach Tarimo Goodhur!

This led the group on-to climbing Munro’s, from there they found a new love and began to fall in love with our scenic home. From the start the guys wanted a purpose for their new adventure. They decided to aim towards a charity climb of Ben Nevis on Saturday 22nd August 2020.

Collectively as a group, the guys have been impacted directly or indirectly by poor mental health. Therefore, in their opinion they could not find a more worthy cause than to support ourselves at BYM. The aim is to turn this crazy year into a positive to hopefully make a difference for those who need support the most.
