On Sunday, I will be attempting a 5 mile Tough Mudder run. For those of you who don’t know, Tough Mudders are the hardest endurance events and not only do you have to run a long way, but you also have to negotiate lots of difficult obstacles and wade through freezing muddy water. At the age of 15 I have been given special dispensation special dispensation by the organisers to take part because I am raising money for such a good cause:

In July 2019, I and a small group from school will be embarking on a month long adventure to Northern Tanzania. Throughout our 4 weeks there we plan to give back to the local people - whether this be teaching or helping to build basic facilities that we take for granted in our own lives. This will be a big challenge for us but we will discover new communities as we trek and we hope to discover lots about the world and ourselves.

However, with this amazing opportunity comes the initial challenge of raising the money to fund the expedition. My target is £4,250 which is why I am about to put myself through the Tough Mudder
