Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Kashenyi village is found in Ntungamo district in South western Uganda. It is one of the remote areas, less developed and education levels are still very low. School dropouts especially among girls remain very high. No support for children with support needs.
Children have to walk long distances to poorly equipped public schools, coupled with various other social cultural practices that affects girl's education. All of this would need community sensitizations as well as a need to construct a good school in the area to facilitate the kids education needs.
Myself and my late brother, who was a police officer, had this idear in mind fifteen years ago, but unfortunately, my brother was killed in his police operations in 2015 before we could embark on this project.
It's is this prior commitment and a desire to improve on our community's well-being, that i beg all well wishers to give a helping hand towards realisation of this desired goal.
I would have loved to build this school in memory of my late brother Assistant Inspector of police Bendixon Mugisha.
We had already secured over 10 hectares of land for this project, and all i need is the help to to construct and equip the school.
Any contributions towards realisation of this desired goal will not only improve and or give life to the children and parents of Kashenyi, but also benefit the entire district.
