I've raised £300 to purchase new strips and equipment for Benton Con Club FC.

As a newly formed club we are currently using borrowed strips and training equipment and are looking to raise the funds to buy new strips and equipment.
In a bid to raise money for the club, our player manager, Steven Leman and another of our players Chris Huntley are going to complete a sponsored 100 mile challenge.
On top of working full time, football training and playing games, both lads are going to run 100 miles over the duration of October. The aim of the challenge is to each 100 miles between October 1st and October 31st, the 100 miles can be completed by completing a shorter run on all 31 days or by completing longer runs on fewer days!
To put into context what the lads are going to be going through, if they completed 15 runs over the course of the month, each run would need to average 6.66 miles to complete the 100 mile challenge.
All completed runs will be tracked and uploaded onto the club facebook page at Facebook.com/BentonConservativeClubFC so you can all follow the lads progress and read their updates throughout the month.
This is a truely gruelling task and we hope you can all appreciate what the lads are doing for the football club and donate generously to make it all worthwhile.
