    Story

This fundraiser is now closed! We did our best and are now handing over to WCC. Thanks everyone!

The Bermuda Phoenix Centre is ideally placed in Nuneaton to help and support the wider community during this crisis. The centre manager, James, has been using his own personal funds and time to provide the vulnerable and isolated community members with essential supplies and hot meals, but he needs help. He has already reached out asking for containers and pots to deliver the meals in, and for help with the physical delivery. Now he needs money. Money to buy the supplies he needs in order to cater for such quantities of people. This morning he has already sent out 176 meals. If you can offer physical support please get in touch, but if you can offer cold hard cash, that's appreciated and just as valuable and needed. Stay well x

We have now surpassed our target! Thank you all so much. As James winds down the operation and passes it over to the official channels we don't need any more money. Any left over will be given to the foodbanks along with any leftover supplies. Stay safe everyone, take care of each other.

There aren't enough words to express how grateful we are for the incredible generosity shown at this time. James is making every penny go as far as it can, feeding isolated and vulnerable people with a quality cooked meal. He has pledged to carry on as long as possible, but since the centre income has dropped to zero and the number of isolated vulnerable people keeps rising, no one knows how long this can last. One thing is certain, when all this is over, BIG PARTY for Jamie. BIG.
