Schubert died at 31 yet composed a massive amount of music including 20 operas that no one ever performs. We are bringing one of them, Alfonso und Estrella, to life so we can show the world what a wonderful, unjustly neglected work it is. The 3 performances we are giving will reach 1,000 people at most so we are raising the money to have a professional video made which some opera website platforms have offered to host so the production reaches a wider public and, we hope, provoke a re-evaluation of this wonderful opera.
