Story

Bernard Pottle 11/10/1930 - 11/03/2021

Dad loved freshly picked garden flowers but always felt that money spent on flowers could be put to a better use. So in his memory we would like to ask you to make a donation to Charity instead. The money we raise here will be split between two local Charities which are close to our hearts and who have gone above and beyond to supply stimulation for Dad and support for Mum.

The Cedar Community Club - A friendly local community club based in Hinton Waldrist providing respite for carers and a place for older people to meet with friends old and new. If you look at the gallery on their website you will recognise their Mandolin playing wise man.

Kennington Memory Club A safe and supportive Day Care Centre for people living with Dementia. Which provides its members with the opportunity to exchange memories and take part in stimulating activities tailored to their needs and wishes.

As a final gift to my Dad, Mum and I will be putting together the flowers for his funeral using freshly picked garden flowers. If you live locally and would like to give us a couple of flowers, some blossom or greenery from your garden, please drop it at Mum's before lunchtime on 30 March.

Thank you
