Our Dad, Grandad and father in law Barney passed away on 9th December 2024 in A1 respiratory ward. The care grandad received whilst on the ward was second to none. The staff cared for grandad with great compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. Carnlough Fire and rescue service where also fire responsers and providing vital first aid at the time of need.

To show our appreciation towards the staff of A1 respiratory ward at Antrim hospital and Carnlough Fire and Rescue Service (fire responders) , Claire , Aisling and I are currently training to take part in the Liverpool half marathon and 10 mile road race on Sunday 23rd March 2025 to raise vital funds for the ward in memory of our Dad, Grandad and Father in law Barney Campbell.
