Story

Amy-Rose is a beautiful 7 year old with a sunshine smile. During labour Amy went into toxic shock resulting in HIE ( Hypoxic-Ischaemic-Encephalopathy). Amy-Rose has athetoid/dyskinetic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and is 100% tube fed through a transgastric jejunostomy button.
Amy-Rose has very complex needs and requires lots of specific equipment which has to be updated as she grows. Amy-Rose uses an Eye Gaze system at school and I would like to raise enough funds to purchase a system for Amy to use at home, which will hopefully help with her communication.
Any extra funds will be for essential equipment and to possibly fund a family break to Fife which has fully adapted and accessible accommodation and parks with wheelchair accessible equipment.
So, what am I going to do to raise this amount?
I wanted to do something that would have a big impact on me and shock people into giving. Anyone who knows me, knows my hair is the one feature I am really proud of. So having my head shaved is the obvious choice. I have set the date for Saturday 14th August at 1pm, outside Bespoke Flowers at Droylsden Precinct. George from Droylsden Village Barbers has kindly agreed to do the deed
I hope you can help me achieve the target by donating. Any amount no matter how small will be gratefully received.
I hope we can help to make a difference for Amy-Rose, her Mum Ceri-ann and Dad Phil.
Thank you so much.
