Story
On the 25th of July 2019, Myself and my friend Kate are undertaking an enormous physical challenge. We aim to complete the Long Distance Time Triathlon Alp D'Heuz. The total distance for this event is just more than a Half Iron man - consisting of a 2.2Km open water swim, 118Km bike and 20Km run. Made harder by the savage incline of 3,540m.
In the current climate there is a huge financial burden on the education system and we are using this event as an opportunity to raise money for the schools that we work in. We aim to inspire children to get involved in events like ours and encourage a more active lifestyle. We hope that the funds raised will provide outdoor equipment and a trim trail.

4 years agoHello, Time Triathlon was amazing. One of the hardest experiences of my life but worth the adventure. As you know I missed the run cut off by 5minutes due to a puncture. You can train as much as you like but you need the bike skills! As a result I completed the middle distance triathlon the next day to feel like I’d accomplished what I set out to do. In total 3.7km s, 136km b, 8k r over 13,000m of climb. I’d like to donate the money to the school as intended but checking you’re all happy before I do so. PM me if not. Xx Thanks again x
