As many of you know, we recently said a heartbreaking goodbye to our beloved sanctuary cat Bert, who passed peacefully at 18 years old. Bert’s story touched so many hearts — from his early days wandering the streets of Neath searching for comfort, to finding his true home with us.

We chose an individual cremation for Bert to give him the dignity he deserves, and his ashes are resting with us and be scattered in our memorial garden alongside other much-loved animals who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

The cremation cost is £180, and several of you have kindly asked if you can contribute. We’re truly humbled and grateful for this support at such a sad time.

If you would like to donate towards Bert’s final journey, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us. Any additional funds raised will go directly towards the care of our other elderly and sanctuary cats, ensuring they receive the same love and respect as Bert did.
