Story

So, Ryans 25th birthday is coming up in October and as a few of you will already know he’s currently fighting leukaemia and lymphoma.

Ryan was first diagnosed with CLL when he was 19, being one of the youngest people in the country to have this type of leukaemia. He was given the all clear in 2016 but unfortunately we had the bad news that he had relapsed in October. His treatment seemed to be going well and everything was headed in the right direction, until he started getting some unusual headaches in June. It was then we found out his cancer had progressed into something called ‘Richter Transformation’ which is a very rare complication of CLL that means it has developed into something more serious and aggressive. Ryan is now undergoing harsh chemotherapy and will need a bone marrow transplant for his best chance of survival. Those of you who know Ryan will know he is never one to complain, life keeps throwing all these curveballs at him, but he takes them like a boss and always has the most positive attitude.

I wanted to set this up for him to give him the best birthday he could possibly have, despite the circumstances. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will make all the difference to Ryans 25th birthday💞

He’s got a super long journey ahead of him and we are all super proud of him for being so amazing through all of this. Nobody deserves to have to go through this at such a young age. 🤍
