I have been growing my hair since 2011 so I could send it away to the Little Princess Trust. They provide real wigs for girls and boys across the UK and Ireland who have tragically lost their hair due to cancer treatment.

When the opportunity to go to Mongolia with World Challenge came up I decided that i would use my hair cut as a way to raise money. Each participant must raise £3995 for the expedition. Over the summer I got a job looking after three children of the ages four, five and seven.

While we are in Mongolia we are going to be trekking through the mountains with horses, then we are going to take part in a project which will either be visiting children at an orphanage or going to a local school and sleeping in yurts. At the end of our three week expedition our team will get the opportunity to visit temples in China or the Great Wall!

This is something I am really excited about and cutting my hair for this great cause is something I have wanted to do for a long time. Any small or large contribution would be greatly appreciated.
