Story

I'm Beth and I have been given an incredible opportunity this year, which is a dream come true of mine! I have been selected to compete with Ministry of Beats Reign Adaptive Abilities Cheerleading Team in April 2024 at Allstar Worlds in Florida.

I started cheerleading in 2014 when my mum started her own squad, it was an eye opener and the confidence boost that I needed. After Covid I took over the cheerleading business, which has been amazing and hard. I felt I wanted to do something more for my students to look up to me so I went for it and got on an amazing team!

Owning my own business at the age of 21 is definitely an incredible experience but my condition does sometimes try to get the better of me. I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome over 6 years ago, which is a serious, long-term illness that affects many body systems. This has meant that some days doing simple tasks have been so hard to complete. Cheerleading has definitely felt like it could always make me forget about my illness, it has made me stronger mentally and physically. I will always strive to be the best I can be. Now I have an amazing opportunity to compete against awesome cheerleaders from across the world.

So here's where I need your help, I need to raise at least £1,000 to get to Florida. The money I raise will be spent on flights, accommodation, competition fees, cheerleading uniform, travel insurance, travel to the airport, training fees etc. Just our competition fees alone are £188.

I would be so grateful for your support, and it would be amazing to take you on my journey, so please look our for updates and fundraising events that will be announced very soon.

Lots of Love
