    Story

The World Scout Jamboree is a gathering of nearly 40,000 scouts from over 150 countries. World Scout Jamborees occur every four years and the next Jamboree is in summer 2019 in West Virginia, USA.

After a tough selection competition, I have been selected to join the UK contingent as part of the International Service Team (or IST) as volunteers who help keep the event running smoothly. This could be anything from running activities, to first aid to cleaning toilets.

Given the global reach of a World Scout Jamboree, the prices are set accordingly with more developed nations paying more to jamboree than less developed nations. As such, the Jamboree costs UK participants approx £3,000 which I am trying to fundraise as much as I can.

Please support me in this endeavour as its a wonderful chance for me to help young people get the best out of the event.
