Story

In July 2019 a team of students from Islwyn High school are flying out to Morocco with the World Challenge. Here we will undergo a weeks project phase in order to benefit those less fortunate than ourselves. This could include things like building schools, toilets, sanitation facilities, community centres, pathways and playgrounds to improve general infrastructure, hygiene and education. The majority of children in rural communities, especially girls are not able to go to school due to the lack of sanitary facilities so therefore have to miss out on a education. I believe every child has the right to a education so by teaming up with world challenge we are making sure this happens. Within our trip we will also venture on the challenging 4 day Alternative Toubkal Trek in the Atlas Mountains, 4167m high the highest peak in North Africa. This is a charity organised trip and we are only able to go if we can raise the right amount of money. In order to raise the monies for this trip we are required to fundraise the money individually, thank you.
