Story
My name is Bethan Rogers. I am 13 years old and I go to scouts in East Devon. After attending a selection camp, I was chosen to represent Devon at the 24th world jamboree in North America. There were only 63 people who were selected out of all the scouts in Devon and I'm one of them!
In the Summer of 2019 I will be going to the Summit Betchel camp in West Virginia along with 45,000 other scouts from 150 countries. There are lots of amazing activities available at the camp including abseiling, climbing and a 5 mile zipwire! It will also be a chance to meet scouts of all different cultures and continents, which I am really excited about!
It is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
