Story

I will be participating in a skydive in order to raise money for those affected by retinitis pigmentosa. Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is an inherited condition of the eye leading to loss of vision and blindness.
This money will go towards funding medical research to find a treatment for this condition while providing information and support to those affected.
The reason behind why I have chosen to jump is because it has been a year since my 7 year old brother, kaileb, was diagnosed with Usher syndrome type 1b, Usher syndrome 1b is the combination of being profoundly deaf from birth, early onset retinitis pigmentosa and balance problems. kaileb already has extensive loss of peripheral vision and is night blind, this will progress into total blindness by his teenage years.
