Paradise, California has just suffered its most destructive and deadliest wild fire ever. There are currently over 70 confirmed deaths, over 1000 still missing and almost 12,000 structures destroyed.

It is right next to Chico where Beth spent 6 months doing her DTS and she has friends who have lost their homes and everything in them. As you can imagine this devastation is close to our hearts. Beth's old base (the building in the picture) is safe, they lost power for a while but that is all. They have now opened their doors to volunteers including Crisis Response International - an organisation started by a YWAMer.

Beth and mum Sarah, both feel God has put it on their hearts to fly out and serve in anyway they can. As you can imagine there is an awful lot of work to do, and thousands of people in trauma.

Above all please pray for us, that is our most powerful weapon. If it is in your heart to give financially, we need help towards flights (about £1300 for both of us,) accommodation (£360) and car hire (around £370.)
