    Story

While spending many hours being at home, or out on my daily walk, I began wondering what I could do to play my small part in helping our local community during this difficult time.

One of my hobbies is photography and in the last year I have began making a little business from it. During lockdown I began seeing other photographers from the UK starting to photograph families while on their daily walk, and I thought this was a fantastic idea and wanted to bring this to my local villages! I want to offer this as a free service, however felt I could use this opportunity to raise a little bit of money for a local charity.

I made the decision to start a donation page for The Goed Life. The Goed Life’s aim is to enhance the lives of people with learning disabilities through finding them meaningful employment and supporting them and their families in any way they can. During lockdown they have been sending out parcels with things to do, games, colouring books, movies and books to try and make life at home a bit easier. They are hoping to continue with their projects in the not too distant future. The Goed Life will be starting the building work for the café in The Bee Hive, Kingsthorpe soon and their gardening projects are being looked after ready to go full speed ahead when they are allowed.

The Goed Life have also asked me to mention, that if you know of anyone that would benefit from this support, then please get in touch, and they will do their best to help.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated as I know this is a difficult time for everyone, but if we can, let‘s raise a little bit of money while capturing some fun!
