Hi my name is Bethany,

I am 14 years and I have decided to #dosomethingamazing and signed up to be part of a Camps International expedition to Borneo, Asia in 2018. Firstly, this trip will enable myself to go into the Borneo rainforest and help to counteract the damage caused by deforestation.

Sadly, the extent of deforestation is causing the Borneo environment to become unsustainable for Orangutan wildlife and creates a risk of extinction, as more and more forest land is destroyed for Palm Oil production. Hopefully, with my participation I can help reduce this impact on the environment by planting new life for future wildlife to enjoy.

Not only that, this trip will also give me the opportunity to help provide essential facilities to underprivileged communities (such as building new community centres or schools), build international community links and develop english communication and language skills for school-age children.

But, I can't do this by myself...I need your help.
I want to my show determination and commitment to fulfilling my dream trip and I would like you all to be part of it too. The total amount I have to raise for this adventure is £4107.00 and to start off my fundraising, I am hoping you will sponsor me as I set my sights on walking up Mount Snowdon in April 2017(date to be confirmed - due to weather) and raise £500 towards it.

Mount Snowdon, is known to be the highest mountain in Wales and a 1.085mtrs above sea-level. I am aiming to follow the Ranger's Path and walk/climb a staggering 3,070ft to the summit!!!

I would like to complete this challenge of going up and down a mountain in one day, knowing no matter how small or large your sponsor/donation, you are all behind me.
