Story
In August 2019, I have the amazing oppurtunity to work abroad for three weeks. This is a midwifery led placement and will involve me working in completely different conditions. The skills taught and sittuations witnessed will all go towards my experience as a midwife. This will be such a learning curve for me and I will learn how deprived countries cope in emergency circumstances with such a lack of equiptment and resources, the interventions they make and how much this differs from the NHS care as well as the different beliefs and values people from a completely different social background have. I hope to take my own knowledge abroad as well as bringing back new facts and information that I can implement throughout my journey and career not only as a student midwife but as a registered midwife. I hope that the experiences will help me grow and thrive as a midwife as well as leaving me with an unforgettable and once in a lifetime oppurtunity 💓💗⭐️ Unfortunately my money is tight being a student and accommodation, food and flights aren‘t cheap for this time length which is why I thank you for reading this and give an even huger thankyou if you can spare the time and money to make a small donation and be part of the contribution to my journey. If you have any questions please ask me😊 Xxxxxxxxx
