In January I am going to go to South Africa for six months as a volunteer to work at LIV village!!! This is just one part of an exciting step for me as I consider a future, serving over seas, after completing a degree in primary education.

During my first three months at LIV I will be helping in general around the village, then during the second lot of three months I will be gaining work experience in a specific area, such as the school.

The village has an amazing vision, and provides care for orphaned and vunerable children!!! At the moment there are 154 children being cared for. Within the village the children are placed into a family environment and a school, and they are equipped with all they need for later on in life.
