Story
Bethany is taking part in an ‘international volunteering’ trip to Costa Rica at the end of her GCSE’s to do turtle conservation work. She will be working with ASVO to do beach cleans, remove plastic from the ocean, build nest sites and hatcheries for the turtles and take part in educational conservation project work. She is required to meet a fundraising target set by her school to go towards this trip and the conservation project. She will be doing a variety of different fundraising events over the year and would be very grateful for any donations people are happy to make towards her fundraising target. 4 years agoUnfortunately, B’s school have just cancelled this trip (26.2.19). Rising costs meant they have decided it’s no longer viable for the students to go. B is gutted - she was really looking forward to this once in a lifetime opportunity and had raised over £400 towards it. If you have kindly donated, I can either refund you the amount (pm me with bank details), or we will forward the money directly onto the turtle conservation charity she was going to be volunteering with so they still benefit. Such a shame. 😢
