Story

We're excited to announce that we'll be running the Wilmslow 10k in support of three incredible charities, who serve to better the lives of those in the construction industry and the local Greater Manchester region.

38 Bethell team members will be participating in support of our nominated charities!

We chose to nominate the Lighthouse Club, Wood Street Mission in Salford & Endeavour in Bolton.

Lighthouse is the construction industry's leading charity which aims to provide emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families. Your donation would allow Lighthouse to keep their free helpline and support services free for everyone in our industry to access, helping those who are in their greatest hour of need get the help when they need the most.

Wood Street Mission aim to support families living on a low income and are struggling to make ends meet in the Salford & Manchester area with practical help and services. Your support would allow Wood Street to supply families with children's clothes, toys, bedding, baby equipment and toiletries, which is ever more imperative considering the cost-of-living crisis many are facing at the moment.

Endeavour are a local Bolton-based charity who aim to provide front line community-based support, group work and counselling for those affected by domestic abuse. Through your donation, you can help Endeavour end domestic abuse and keep their safe accommodation, pet fostering facilities and free support services open and available to all.

The Wilmslow 10k is a marathon organised by Run North West and features a circuit around the picturesque town of Wilmslow, featuring country roads and finishing in the town centre. The run takes place Sunday 10th July.

All donations received as part of this fundraiser will be equally split between the 3 causes.
