As the Corona Virus situation develops our role as Better Connected Beaconsfield is to support our community where we can.

We are helping people who are self isolating with getting essential shopping, medicine. Helping those in particular over 70 and or with a health condition to stay safe and stay home. Providing a Pop up Larder for those who are in short term financial hardship resulting from Corona. We also have a Listening Ear for those in need of a supportive phone call at this difficult time.

We need funding to help us deliver the resources and infrastructure needed to deliver our corona support activities, which include a coordinated network of 350 volunteers supporting people in their community. This could include print, website, staff, call handling costs to practical things like buddy badges, shelving for the ‘Larder’.
