Update 5/5/19
This time last week, I was at around the 21 mile mark of the iconic London Marathon! 🏃♀️
After having a week to reflect on my experience, wow what an atmosphere and still feeling a little overwhelmed 😊
So was it tough ✅, was it worth it ✅, did I ache ✅, did I enjoy it ✅, was it emotional ✅, did I celebrate with fizz ✅ and would I do it again absolutely 💯% .
The people of London and spectators were something else, so kind & my motivators at crucial times! 💪🏻
I managed to see my husband at the 23 mile mark, which was amazing! 💑
My time was 5:37:31, I did not set myself a time, my personal goal was to complete & get over that finish line.
I achieved one of my life goals. 🙌🏻
I am now part of the 1% of the population that has done it! This time is now my PB..... my first Marathon, 26.2. 🏅
My next challenge is on the 29th June, 10,000ft sky dive! 😬 ✈️
Thank you, to everyone that has supported me, sent messages, sponsored me and took a general interest in my journey.
You know who you are and I honestly could not have done it with out you all! 😘
Happy Bank Holiday people! 🍾🥂🤪
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️As many of you are aware for the last 16 weeks I have been training for the London Marathon (26.2 miles) which takes place on the 28th April 2019. 😬

I was fortunate enough to get a place through the ballot, so I have not had the added pressure of having to fundrise. However, I have had many people approach me and ask what charity I am supporting and if they could sponsor me. This got me thinking! 🤯
There are so many charities out there that are all deserving, so .......... when I saw an advert for a charity Sky dive on the 29th June 2019 for our local hospital The Derby Royal, I was SOLD. ✈️
We all have or know someone at some point in our lives that has been treated at our local hospitals. I will always be eternally grateful to them as over the years I have had first hand experience, my son was born at 32 weeks with heart complications and my mother in law was successfully treated for breast cancer. 💙💜
The London Marathon and doing a Sky Dive have always been life long goals of mine AND this year I get to do both. 🥳 ✅
Ps. I forgot to mention, I have been alcohol free for 16 weeks (bar the toast to my hubby’s 40th). Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love my fizz ....... so this has been tough and pure dedication was needed! 😅 🍾🥂
