On our travels, James and I were met by the most amazing communities - people giving up their own time to help us, when we were simply strangers!

One stand-out moment from the whole trip was the help and kindness in Malaysia. A time when our trip nearly came to an abrupt end.

Leaving our vital travel documents on a bus wasn’t the brightest idea I’ve ever had… and if not found, it would mean our travels would end.

Thankfully, for the kindness of the Malaysia people, and the community of the small fishing village we found ourselves in, phone-calls were made and passports returned!

With the nature of the fast-travel, and these said strangers simply going about their normal lives, thank yous were not exchanged and James and I have felt bad about this ever since.

In order to give our greatest appreciation to this community, we are raising money for the village’s primary school to help them develop their outdoor area and parking spaces.
