I've raised £400 to Help to fund Betty's recovery

We found Betty during a storm in March of this year. She was exhausted and not well. We took her home and bathed her as she had skin problems & bare patches all over her. Our vet who confirmed she is not chipped. We were unable to find where she came from & think she was abandoned on that country lane. She is about 15yrs old and now lives with us & our 2 rescue Border Collies Winnie and Beau Dog. Our vet said she has not had a good life so give her love for the time she has left. She needed some dental work as they were causing her pain. She has regained some energy and follows us everywhere. We raised the money for most of her dental operation and during the procedure our Vet found she had advanced liver disease. Her liver enzymes should be around 100 hers are over 2000! We were so gutted as she is part of our family now. It is not expected that she will make the end of November but she is a little fighter and with a lot of research and our Vet's advice we are going to give her the best chance possible. No drugs or operation as she has been through enough and we don't think she will come through another anaesthetic. Supplements and a natural diet is what we are doing and blood tests at the end of each month. We hope you can help. The money we raise will go on helping Betty only. If we do lose her any money we raise that is left over we will be giving to an animal rescue home of our Vet's choosing. He has been so compassionate and has fell for Betty as much as we have. We will be taking photos at the fell races. We totally love her she is so scrumptious! Thank you. Sue, Nigel, Winnie, Beau Dog, Freddie Fish, Lottie Tortoise and of course a big Thank you from Betty <3 xxx
