Story
After witnessing the Pompiers attend an accident involving a child at a recent rugby match, I realised that the voluntary work that these people do is invaluble. They are on 24h call out, and are first on the scene in when an incident occurs
The pompiers are all volunteers, who are the first responders whenever we need them.
I am going to cycle from St Malo to Eymet at the beginning of September - with my Jack Russell dog Beuller. He will be in his little trailer with me, and we hope to travel the distance within 10 days.
I hope to be cheered on along the way by members of other volunteer pompiers , as we progress south
I am hoping to achieve my target of £2000 - with the fantastic support of the people of Eymet and the local area

Sion Fitton - the Barber of Eymet
Having lived in Eymet since 2018, when I was delighted to open my very own barbers shop on Rue du Temple, I have come to appreciate the incredible service and effort the Pompiers of Eymet do for the local community - they all volunteers and need all our support.
