Imagine waking up everyday feeling like you are in the wrong body, and no matter how hard you try you can't seem to love yourself, you feel something with your body just isn't right.

I am raising money for my good friend Bev, He was born a he but has always felt uncomfortable in his own body and the only way to solve this is to become a she.
I have known Bev for 3 years now, such a generous character and kind hearted, the kind of person to give their own shirt off their own back for you, which is great but means he has never got what he truly wanted as he's always helping others.
I offered to help him with his gender re-assignment last year and since then he has started hormone treatment and has a gender doctor here in the UK. This year we researched the sex change procedure and found an amazing Doctor in Thailand which we are meeting this month in Bangkok.
It's his 50th birthday tomorrow and I have booked flights this Tuesday for both of us to travel to Thailand to meet the doctor for the consultation this week Friday, He is 100% sure he wants to go through with the operation, we have scraped together all our savings, wages and maxed out credit cards, we are just £625 short of our budget because of extra hospital accom fees, a slight increase in flights and the cost of me coming for support.

I feel no friend of mine should go through this alone and I want to help him in anyway I can, I want to share his, soon too be her story because Bev is such a great person, friend and legend!
