Story
Binky Flops rescue have been rescuing, neutering and rehabilitating abandoned/neglected pet rabbits for 5 years now. In that time, approximately 100 bunnies have come through our doors and the majority have gone on to find wonderful furever homes with our valued supporters. We now are in a position where 20 of those bunnies are not suitable for rehome for a variety of reasons and that is greatly affecting our ability to accept any more intakes. This lack of space, along with continuously rising costs vs reduced incoming funds, has driven our decision to cease rescuing and become solely a sanctuary for our remaining bunnies
As BFr make the final transition from rescue to sanctuary, we would love to get as many bunny neuter/spay operations completed in July as possible.
Neutering as soon as possible is highly important for a number of reasons including:
* prevention of unwanted pregnancy
* effective bonding experiences
* prevention of stressful hormone related behavioural issues
* prevention of reproductive cancers
We aim to neuter all suitable bunnies at the earliest opportunity but costs are high and more urgent procedures/emergencies often take priority. Our remaining desexing operations are set to cost a total of £1056.
Please help us to raise at least half of our imminent neuter costs, the remaining amount being met personally by the BFr team.
