Story

Bridgnorth Cricket & Hockey Club Members are taking on the infamous Bridgnorth Walk on Monday 4 May to raise funds for both Severn Hospice and our club.

The Senior Walk is a 22 mile return slog from Bridgnorth High Street to the top of Brown Clee, a 540 meter climb and the highest point in Shropshire. We also have members taking part in the Junior Walk and Family Walk on Brown Clee. Whichever walk you choose there will be plenty of uphill challenges!

Our charity this year is Severn Hospice who gives specialist care and support free of charge to families across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who are living with an incurable illness.

Severn Hospice support families through the good days and bad days because they believe that when cure is no longer possible, care is. Since 1989, they have given free care and support to more than 50,000 people and their loved ones during their time of greatest need. They now help around 3,000 local people every year.
