I've raised £15000 to provide a multi-purpose event and visual arts performance space for our pupils and the local community.

Ballyclare High School is a competitive grammar school with a proven record of achievement in academic distinction and extra-curricular excellence.
It is steeped in a tradition of high performance that reaches back over 100 years and is best represented in the school motto, 'industria et probitate', which emphasises the fact that hard work and personal integrity are at the heart of our values.
In our determination to blend the best of long-established processes and cutting edge contemporary approaches to learning, we believe that we offer an approach which provides an ideal basis for our pupils to advance into the adult world with confidence and success.
This project we see as just this sort of mix, taking the existing building and framework and transforming this facility into a high tech contemporary place that offers our pupils and the local community a multi-purpose event and visual arts performance space. We want the best for our pupils and to continue to open and develop our facilities for the local community.
This space will be used for art exhibitions and displays and drama and musical productions for groups both inside and outside of school. The aim is also ultimately to develop this space into a community entertainment hub for movie showcases and contemporary lectures.
We have already gained exposure and support for this project through the welcome receipt of a grant from the Foyle Foundation of £20,000, taking us almost halfway towards the total needed to fulfil the project.
This grant will be added to the £10,000 already raised by our wonderful PTAFA but in order to meet our commitment of providing the best facilities we can, we need your help to raise a total of £45,000.
