I've raised £900 to help The Big Comfy Bookshop to recover from the huge losses to their business after a burst pipe beneath their shop caused awful flooding.

On 1st August this year, The Big Comfy Bookshop suffered a huge loss to their business after a burst pipe beneath their shop flooded the area near the front counter.
As well as a great stock of books being damaged they also may have long term damages beneath their counter which are as yet unknown which could cause further issues to their business..
The Big Comfy Bookshop is a staple of our community at FarGo Village, hosting local events and discussion groups and to lose such large amounts of stock can be very damaging long term for a small business where sales of books is their bread and butter.
So if you love The Big Comfy Bookshop, if you love their community and their ethos... Heck... If you just love books!!! Consider giving them some support in replenishing some of their losses.
Edit: We managed to raise £450 that I asked for, but the damage was £500 estimated so I have moved the goal post out! But we did it! We got what we planned to and I'm so happy. Thank you to everyone who donated so far
FURTHER EDIT: I've raised it again because you guys are amazing and although £500 covers the damages, this shop deserves even more. Anything you can provide please do! And pop in for a cake, cuppa and a book or two! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. You're all fantastic.
